We took my sister and her girls to the metro richmond zoo(oh yeah, my sister came to visit!). We have been before and loved it. Some of the animals roam free and you can pet a lot of others. Carson is obsessed with Giraffes and did not want to leave them. It was so cute. We also got to ride on the sky ride which is a ski lift over part of the zoo. Paige said that was the best part! It was a blast and the weather was amazing (78)!! Its definitely a place we will visit frequently...its even owned by a bishop in our stake and is very much like "We Bought a Zoo"!
