Finger update

Yeah I am sure you all are bored with my finger, but oh well. Can you believe this little steak knife could cause all these problems?
First stage...in a splint that did not help at all..
And here I am today. After surgery. All went "well." My tendon was not repairable because apparently I severed the whole tendon. So they removed the tendon that had recoiled down into my hand. We do not know what my mobility will be yet, but now that I am no longer numb I can move it pretty well, so I think it will be fine. As long as its not painful anymore I will be happy.
Funny story: After my surgery, Chad was helping me get dressed and my arm was numb from my shoulder down. My arm ended up hitting me in the face. Funny, yet totally weird. I felt like Harry Potter when his arm has no bones. I kid you not. When I would lay down it would roll up and knock me in the chin. Seriously. So weird. Needless to say I am glad I am no longer numb!
