Frightening Halloween Party

Yesterday was our ward's most anticipated Halloween Party.  Let me tell you, it is a lot different when you are on the Activities Committee!  The Cultural hall looked great though.  We had a chili cook-off again too, which was very successful!  Now, I say that was a frightening halloween party because of what happened during the party. So, Chad and I were getting the chili ready for the judges and we had Paige playing in the room behind us.  She was completely blocked in and could not get out.  I go to check on her and she is gone!  I immediately started panicing.  She had not gotten out on her own clearly.  I ran outside and to the street because I was convinced she had gone outside, but I saw her no where.  Then I begin to think someone took her.  I almost started bawling.  I ran inside and Jenika had found her crawling up the stairs to the stage...by herself!  I was very relieved, however upset that someone would get her out of the room and just let her go...she is 1!  I had nightmares all night last night.  It is the most horrible feeling ever.  I am still a little shook up by it.
Now, the party after that went well.  We played games and did a trunk or treat.  Paige loved going around and looking at all the trunks and people.  She couldn't say trunk or treat of course, but to everyone she went to, she would say "bye bye!"  It was so cute.
Chad also won, best overall costume.  I told Chad he wasn't allowed to go as a Scotsman because to us that is not original (my words were lame), since he is Scottish and as you have seen, goes to Scottish Festivals.  Well, yet again I was proven wrong since he won!  Oh well.

Accepting his award!
Trunk or treating! She loved getting the candy herself

The crazed hairdresser, the cute pig, and the handsome Scotsman.

sorry tans! it does sound down right frightning. she probably wasn't even phased - which is good that you won't BOTH be having nightmares about it!!

The handsome scotsman...have you seen Maid of honor???Chad would fit right in...I even like the beard look. You guys are good sports, I would have to bribe Josh with something good to get him to dress up in a costume.
