Apprehensive
I know I have posted a lot recently, forgive me! Just keeping you people entertained. So, lately Paige is refusing to take two naps. I put her in there and she plays and plays, for 2 hours. I have figured I would just let her play because it gives me the free time, but then she is cranky because she went the whole day with no naps. I am so apprehensive about going down to 1 nap because that changes everything. I know I should, but its hard! Anyone else have this issue!? How do I adjust to one nap? Funny as it may seem, this is hard because during her first nap is when I shower and get ready. If I no longer have that, how do I shower with her around? See how tough this is? As I am writing this, she is just playing in her crib and has been doing so for an hour and a half. She has only taken a 30 minute nap this morning. I think its a sign that she is ready for one nap.

If it were me I think I would rather shower than blog, but that is just me. So there is your answer. Even though this is the only way I get to keep up with you guys, please don’t skip the shower to keep me updated

I think you should put her in the bed to play with some toys while you shower...
I hate that transition from two naps to one. I used to shower during McKinley's first nap too. Now she just has "down time" where I let her watch cartoons with her binky and blanky while laying on my bed. That is when I get ready now. But I don't know if Paige is interested in cartoons yet. But hey, if she is just playing in her bed, she is safe in there, so shower then! Good luck!
I'm at the same stage. Some days Matthew still takes two really good naps, and others he will only fall asleep during one of them. I'm still trying to figure it out. Good luck!
