On Wednesday, we got a wedding invitation for one of Chad's good friends, Brad. Chad said that he wanted to go and we decided that we probably should not go and left it at that. Then Friday morning I woke up and just thought "why can't we be spontaneous and just go!" So I texted Chad, and he was done with school by 11 and had Monday off, so we were out the door by 12:30 and on our way to Utah. Paige did pretty well and the drive there went by rather smoothly and fast. We had a wonderful time there. We stayed with Chad's family Friday through Sunday and got to just relax and hang out. We went to Chad's sister's (Hayley) lacrosse game and that was fun! Then we went to Chad's friend's reception. It was so fun to see friends and catch up with all of them. Sunday, we went over to my parents house and my sister drove down from Burley, ID with her family to see us. Then my brother and his wife came up after they got back from St. George. It was fun to have the little girls play together and have a good time. We attempted to give them all a bath at the same time, thinking it would be fun...wrong! Morgan and Paige thought it was not so fun, while Kelsey just laughed and smacked Paige's little bum! (not hard, just playful!) They are so funny! I will post pictures once I find my camera!
The drive home, was not so fun. It was long of course. It was nice because we got to stop in Vegas and visit with our friends from USU, the Winwards. They were so nice to feed us and sit down and talk. Joe is going to dental school at UNLV so he and Chad had fun talking their jibberish of dental school. Thanks guys for having us! Kylie is so stinkin cute!
We are now home, and I wouldn't say its great. I woke up this morning with what I think is food poisioning. It has been pretty sucky (all of our stuff is still spread all over the house). My sister is convienced it is salmonela because I had tomatoes twice yesterday. I guess its not that serious though. We will see if it gets better. It is just hard to take care of Paige while making frequent trips to the bathroom. Ugh!
