Pictures by others

I must admit that it is so bittersweet that my little girl is going to be one. That is just crazy to me! She has grown up so fast and is learning so much. I thought I would list some things that Paige is doing right now.

-she can say a few words: Hi, buh bye, dada, mama, done, go, and ball

-she can sign: milk and more...however, she understands most signs, just won't do them back

-she is attempting to walk alone. She took her first step on Sunday. She doesn't seem too interested in walking on her own yet!

-she claps and waves. Every time I play or sing the "if you're happy and you know it" song she starts clapping. Her favorite song though is "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee" it always cheers her right up!

-If I say "where is daddy?" she will either stare at the door and wait for him to walk in, or look at the picture of him on the wall and smile!

-she still cuddles with me and I love it. She will just lay her head on my shoulder and sometimes will pat my back.

-she loves to play with friends. When I say Seth's name, she claps her hands and gets excited!

-she is interested in everything we do and wants to mimic us. She has to eat when we do, even if she is not hungry.

-she loves to pull things out of bins. She will take her toys out and throw them over her shoulder. She also does this with her clothes. I do not enjoy that!

Playing with Seth. Jenika, kindly, watched Paige for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I have never left Paige with anyone other than family. She did so well and loved to play with Seth. She loves to steal Seth's pacifier and even ended up taking a nap with it! Sorry Seth! Thanks Jenika for your help!

I call this picture, "my little orphan child" Now I think this picture is so adorable, but it is just one of those ones where she looks so tired and almost sad. She is so cute!
