Sleeping through the night

So I decided that Paige needed to be done nursing in the middle of the night. She is 10 months old and does not need to be doing it. On Tuesday night I decided to just quit cold turkey. I didn't know if this the was the best idea, but I didn't care. She woke up at 2:30 and cried and then fell back asleep. Then she would wake up and whimper on and off for the next hour and a half. However, I did not have to feed her!!! The next night, she slept the whole night. Not even ONE cry!! She woke up at 8 too! Since then, she has slept through the night, and gets up at 8 every morning. Cold Turkey worked for us. She has NEVER slept through the night. Not even once! This is a wonderful thing. All those mothers out there who have babies that sleep through the night at an early age....count your many blessings! It is a wonderful thing. I do need to give some credit to my friend, Lindsey, because she told me to just always keep the fan running. Now many people have told me this, but I never continuously did it. I would go in and turn it off or something. Well I don't know if Paige was just ready to sleep through the night or if it was the fan...probably both...but it works! I love sleeping at night. I still have to go check on her of course to make sure she is still alive because I am crazy! Its fading out too.
