My amazing husband celebrated his 31st birthday on the 12th. It was a blast to have the Davis' here to help us celebrate. I went out to one of our favorite places, Frostings, to get him some cupcakes. They were fantastic as always. I was kind of lame this year as to what to get for Chad. He is a tricky one. I wanted to get him a grill but he said that was not a good birthday gift(but is a good father's day gift). Paige came up with the idea to get him some of his favorite foods. She cracks me up, but that's what we did. We bought him his favorite Trader Joe's popcorn, chocolate twizzlers, crumb cake, and of course the yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. We also got him a Redsoxs pennant to hang in the garage.
I will give my "my husband is the best ever" rant...
-He took care of me 100% when I had my hand surgery. He did all the cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the kids, running them to and from place to place. I did not worry about anything.
- He always helps out. Cooking, cleaning, kids, everything
- He loves his family and always puts us first.
- He has the best job! As a dentist and a dad
- He always supports me in what I want to do
- allows me to go shopping by myself or have girl's nights
- He works hard to support his family and meet our needs
- He cleans up all the throw up...no seriously people, I hate throw up. Chad knows to just step in and clean it. That's a good man.
- Something I truly love, he does not go and sit on the couch while I am trying to clean, deal with kids, etc...especially after dinner. He jumps in and helps. I let him rest occasionally...
- We are equal. We make decisions together. This usually goes my way though because most of the time he does not have an opinion! See I married a good man!
I hope your 31st year is amazing Chad!
See, what a cool dad
He always does story time. Every night.
We love you Chad!
