Tis the summer to swim

well not really. Because our June gloom has lasted most of July too. However, Paige and Seth have started swim lessons with a girl in our ward, Kristen. I must say that the first lesson was HORRIBLE! Paige screamed and would not let go of Kristen's neck most of the time. She fell in the hot tub back in November and has been scared ever since. They will complete lessons next week for the summer. So far Paige can kick like crazy, is learning to move her arms in a swimming motion, goes under ALL by herself, blows bubbles, and has had a 180 degree change since the first lesson...and she has only had 6 lessons! I am already calling it successful! I love that she is more confident and that she is learning so much. I have always said that my children will not have a choice when it comes to learning how to swim. It is too important to me. It could save their life or someone else's. Kristen is a fabulous teacher and is so patient with them. I also love that there is just 2 of them in a class. They get more attention which is really important. So now I hope we get some great sun shiney weather so we can continue to practice the things she has learned!

Thought I would add this picture of Cars swimming for the first time. He loves the pool!

Logan fell into the swimming pool a few months ago and is scared of the water too. I need to get him in swimming lessons. Keep it up-she'll thank you for it later!
