We took a fun random trip to Big Bear again, this time I was glad I was not pregnant! I must say that I was seriously hoping for a pretty lax weekend. I was so happy because on the way up the freeways were clear and we were making great time...then we start going up the mountain and we STOP! We were stopped for 45 minutes just hanging out because of the big professional bike race. It was crazy, but the weather was gorgeous and so we got out and walked around for awhile. We had a good time at the cabin with friends, playing games, watching tv, and hanging out in the fabulous hot tub! This time I was so excited to go on the Alpine slides and I had a blast. Paige seriously loves them and said that going with her friend Natalie was the best part. Go figure! We also got to go on the go-karts again which is always a blast.
I must add that Paige has hit a horrible throwing fit and talking back phase that made some points of the trip not so fun at all, but oh well.
So the day approaches, and its time to go home. We wake up, look out the window and its SNOWING! What the heck? Its almost JUNE! The roads were really not bad at all, but there were a bunch of accidents and well we found ourselves, you guessed it, stuck once again on the mountain. So what did we do... threw snowballs off the side, stood in the snow, and pushed cars out. What fun! We have made it home and are happy to be home yet ready for an UNEVENTFUL vacation! I need one!
