Let me first start off by saying that all week I have been asking Paige what she wanted to give Daddy for Father's Day. EVERYTIME her answer was "apple!!!" This morning I asked again and got the same answer and she ran to the fridge to go get one and brought it in to Chad. She was so excited to give it to him. I guess she thought it was the perfect gift because she loves to eat them so much. How cute and fun is that?
We started out the day with a great breakfast and then headed to church. At church, Chad got a cute candy bar from the primary and Paige made him a tie with her picture on it.
We also gave Chad a picture book of just he and Paige, a Coach wallet, Puma Suglasses, a card Paige made, and of course the apple. Then, we made our way down to Marina Del Rey to go see a gray whale that has been hanging out in the Marina for the past couple of weeks. Of course, with our luck, we did not see it anywhere! But it was nice to walk around and see all of the cool boats.
I made a roast for dinner and to top that all off, we end with fabulous Carvel ice cream cake. Woohoo! Its an added bonus for me!

an apple really is a quite practical gift - it's healthy, yummy and doesn't cost much - pretty much a winner all around! that was a pretty cute story!
