I have to say that after 2 years of living here, I do not want to leave. I absolutely love it here. I have really been thinking about this a lot because we have some dental school friends that just graduated and are all going their seperate ways. I know we have 2 years left, but I really like it here. We have some of the greatest friends, an awesome ward, the beach, disneyland, and oh my the list goes on. I have never had so much fun. People ask me all the time if it is so hard living here without family and well just living here. I do not want to offend anyone, but no its not. Sure I miss family, but I am a very independent person. I like to just be able to rely on my husband and friends. It makes me stronger and better. I really do not want to move when it will come time. For right now, we are living it up and having fun!
Why we love it here...Disneyland, friends, and the beach. Who wouldn't?

I agree, we also have 2 years to go, but we enjoy living on our own. It's good for us, sometimes I wish we lived a little warmer. Maybe will end up in California!
I feel the same way you do. Fortunately, I am not headed anywhere for a long while! I miss my family, but leaving Utah was the best thing Taylor and I could have done for our family (Brooke and Kenzi) We are closer now than we have ever been.
The good thing is, your friends with these people you have met in California for life. 2 years from now is not the end. You will still talk to them and see them. Who knows, maybe you will stay in California! By the way, we would love to come and visit you in September.
I think you should just stay in California...it'll make things a lot easier:)
