Day trip

Chad and I took a day trip down to the San Diego area.  We headed down there because one of my best friend's sister was having a wedding reception.  The Evans' are a family I grew up with in Virginia, and my dad was their home teacher.  Katie and I have always remained great friends, and I can't wait for her to move out here in just a couple of weeks!  

Our day started off with some shopping at the Carlsbad outlets!  We had a nice time shopping and going out for lunch.

We then made our way down to La Jolla Beach and Cove.  We went to the part where there were lots of seals, and Paige loved watching them play and relax.  There was the cutest little baby seal just flopping around too!

From there, we headed off to see the temple.  Paige was begging us to go see it because we had passed it on our way to the beach.  She absolutely loved it and cried when we had to leave.  She loved all of the flowers and how gorgeous everything was.  I love visiting the temple grounds and hopefully instilling that in Paige!

After that, we went to Aubrey's reception.  It was such fun seeing the family I have not seen in 9 years!  It was nice to catch up and see how much they have all grown up.  Paige had a great time eating the delicious food and shaking her little bum to the music!
