Doctor and Shoes

I took Paige to the doctor today for her one year check up. So, those of you who know and see Paige all the time, know that she is TINY! 6 weeks ago she weighed 16.04 lbs. I was getting a little worried really because I want her to be forward facing in her car seat so badly! I called my sister-in-law to see what her tactics were to help her little boys gain weight. I fed Paige constantly, really only because she kept wanting to eat. Well, at the doctor today, she weighed in at a whoppin' 19.5 lbs! Yeah!! She hit a huge growth spurt over 6 weeks. She has been sleeping a lot and eating a ton! It paid off. She also grew 2 inches. Yeah for Paige! She has definitely slowed back down on eating though and is all of the sudden picky! I do not appreciate that. We are getting her new car seat out tonight and putting it in. Now, don't judge because she is not quite 20 pounds, its a personal thing. It will make life so much more wonderful for all of us!
Now, on to the shoes part. Chad told me that I could not buy Paige new shoes until she was walking and had real use for them. Well, we all know she is walking so that gave me merit to go buy shoes. I went for one pair and ended up with 4! I absolutely love Target clearance! I got these four pairs of shoes for under 10 bucks! One is a size 5, so she has to wait for those. I am so proud of myself. And, they are so cute.

No more baby Paige! She is so grown up...especially with the gaps in her front teeth! Good thing Chad is going into the dental field!
