My Birthday

Well, the day started out just like this....

So, you would think it would just be wonderful. We went to C&O's trattoria in Marina Del Rey that have "Killer Garlic Rolls" and I was very excited however, this is where it all fell apart. So they sat us in a back corner and it took the waitress forever to come over. Then they only brought us a few of the garlic rolls and kept passing us by. These rolls are so good, I saved up so I could eat a lot!! Well that did not happen. Then they brought out the food and did not bother to tell me that it was SCALDING hot. They set it down right in front of Paige so of course she sticks her hand in it and burned it. She screamed the whole dinner! I felt so bad and I did not even get to eat. It was not a very fun night out. The poor girl has 2 blisters on her finger. I really do not think they should bring food out that hot. It should not be able to burn skin!! Since I did not eat at the restaurant, we went to Coldstone so I could get my free ice cream. That made things a little better for me, although Paige just wanted to go home and go to bed. Well that was my birthday!

Now the day after my birthday, is what I hoped my actual day would have been like. I got to hang out with Chad and Paige all day. We went shopping, picked up a fabulous Carvel Ice Cream Cake, and played the Wii! Then we had some friends come over for the wonderful cake and we had a good time talking and letting the babies play together. We really had a good time!
