Destination: Utah

We were so excited to go back west for a long vacation.  I got sick the night before with the flu and it was not a very fun day.  Luckily our flight was not until 6pm, so I had some time to regain my strength.  Still, it was stressful.  I was a mess...until I saw this man...
The above is Hershel Walker.  Now let me tell you that I knew who this was.  We saw him in the airport with some people and Chad and I said "Oh must be someone important."  Then I got a good look at him and said to Chad "Oh that is definitely a football player...oh its Hershel Walker!"  Yes, folks I know who he is.  Pretty famous football player.  So I decided to ask him if I could take a picture with him and he was so nice!  Good way to start our travels.  Oh and did I mention he was on our flight too.

The first the kids did when they woke up was pick up pinecones.  Paige knew this task would pay out, and she wanted money asap!
 Two jet-lagged kids
Metting baby Van for the first time!  The Proctors made one cute kid!
Nate graduated from dental school and came to Utah in transit to basic training. We were so thrilled we got to see them!  We have missed them so much this past year!
After our lunch with the Proctors, we headed to Thanksgiving Point where Chad's family was celebrating the Scottish festival.  It was extremely windy and we did not last too long.
So there you have Day 1!  Woah!
