Girls weekend in NY!!

The girls from Chad's side, took a girls trip to New York. We had a blast maneuvering our way around the city. The metro, is well...something else. I will say that people are MEAN in Manhattan. Seriously, I thought LA was bad, HA! One man pushed Rachel off the metro and then swore at her. Yeah, pretty bad. It took all I had not to swear back and hit the guy. Just ask the other girls!
However, with that event, we had a great time. On the first day we hit up Canal Street for some cheap knock off shopping. I only ended up with some $5 sunglasses, they are cute. Then we went and had a delicious lunch at Artie's diner, followed by a little shopping and chocolate croissants from the famous Zabars (You've Got Mail had a scene here).
That night we had an amazing dinner at Carmines, a family style Italian restaurant. Following that we hit up Times Square! Did a little more shopping and got in the feel of it all! As we were walking around we ended up by Grand Central Station where I then FINALLY found the coach purse I wanted. I talked the guy down and now I have a cute coach purse. Oh and Grand Central Station after 11 pm is NOT the place to be.
The next day we attended the gift show. It was awesome and I really wish I could have just bought SO many things. I will be getting a couple of awesome items though!

It was a great trip, and so nice to just relax without the kids!

Name of the Game: How many people can you fit in an old school 80's limo?

11...who knows how, but we did and it was hilarious. It was also my FIRST limo ride ever. I am pretty sure I can top it next time. It seriously had cracked, yellow plastic cups (probably from 1982) and some old crystal glasses with ashes in them. Yeah, awesome!
