High Speed Chase

I am writing this while it is fresh in my mind...
So I am on my way to Manhattan Beach and I am right in front of our church at a stop light. I look ahead at the light ahead and see a suv flying down the road on the opposite side. Then it jolts to my side of traffic and is coming HEAD on and I am the front car. The lane to the left of me is empty and the right has someone next to me. I FROZE. I did not know what to do and had no time to think. Luckily, they jump over to my left. Then about 20 cop cars come flying behind him. Our car is shaking because they are going so fast and are all over. All the cars around me and myself are frozen. It took me a minute to get myself together and continue. I called Jenika to tell her about it and as I am talking to her...yes, hands free...I just start screaming "oh my gosh oh my gosh" as I see the suv coming up from behind me! I froze again. The cars to the right of me moved off to the shoulder and he moved to the right of me and flew by again!!! Then came all the cops again. More shaking of our car, and screaming of myself and the kids. I am uncontrollably shaking. I get going again and decide to pull into the Jiffy Lube praking lot cuz I need to calm down. So, not two minutes later a car and cop pull in...not the high speed car. The cops pull the guy out of the car and take a gun from him. They then begin to interview the people in the car. Apparently they were somehow involved with the guy in the high speed chase and they were telling the cops how the guy had pulled a gun on them...that is all I heard. I swear I was a magnet for it today!
Well, I went to the beach and relaxed a little which was great! On the way home, 3 hours later, Sepulveda (the road it happened on) was completely blocked off, with cop cars all over the place! Needless to say I avoided any area near there and it took me forever to get home. I am trying to watch the news because honestly it should be on, however this is LA. I am thankful we are ok!!
That is my "I almost died, TWICE" story.

Crazy! Not cool. I am glad you are okay. I wouldn't have know what to do. Yes, we do live where we live. Spen and I went overnight to downtown L.A. this weekend. I kept telling him that I felt like I was going to get shot. :)
