In 6 months......

...we will be here. I know most of you will think, "Oh I am sure Brittany is thrilled." Truth be told, I was not. We really REALLY wanted Colorado (but so did a lot of others). Richmond was our second choice, however it really became like our 5th choice. Now, it must be said that both Chad and I have thought and prayed about getting assigned to where we needed to be and well we both KNEW Richmond was where we were going to be assigned. So it really came as no shock when Chad tossed his ipod at me at 6am and told me to read the email. FT. Lee, VA. Housing isn't looking too bad, so that is great. If anyone knows the area (where to live and not live) we would love the information, as most, if not all, of our housing search will be online.

WISH US LUCK!!! And all of my east coast friends...yeah I will be seeing you!

Yay! I had to muster everything I had to sound excited for you guys. I am actually so sad to have you leave us. Seriously, it has put me in a funk for a few day now. I guess if you are going to leave us, it may as well be to someplace cool like Virginia! What an exciting point of life. Change can be fun! (well for you...not me)

Congratulations! Hey, is Chad doing an AEGD or going straight to his payback years?

The Ericksons said...

Karrissa, no AEGD for Chad. We will just start practicing!

That is so exciting that you know where you are going! It is not too far from us, although we have never been there. Congrats and good luck!

Hmmm...I'm thinking we should do our reunion sometimes soon then. I go to visit Adriana the middle of march. will you be there by then??

No, I won't be there until August. You will have to come out again. We will be so much closer to Adriana.

Wow-what an adventure! My parents are the mission presidents for the Manchester, New Hampshire mission, which also goes into Vermont. I'll have to see if you are in their mission boundaries. And my sister and her husband also did their dentistry through the Navy and are graduating this may also. They are going to be stationed in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Best of luck to you!
