Well our motorcycle and I have had quite the relationship over the years. Now I am sure you all know this bike is OLD, 30 years old actually. Well when I was 8, this bike attacked me. Yes, it did. It burned my leg with its muffler. Worst burn I have ever had...until now. It attacked me again. This time it really attacked me. I was parking it into a parking spot, so we could save a spot for family that was coming into town. I was on a hill and put the kick stand down and well it buckled up and the bike fell. I knew there was no way I could lift that bike up as it was falling. I swung my leg over and it fell on it. Therefore the muffler was sitting on my ankle. I had no idea at the time.
Well anyway, over a week later it got infected and I had to go to Urgent Care last night to get it taken care of and get meds to help it out. I must say this burn HURTS! I have been trying to hide how bad it hurts, by walking around, but man it kills. They said it will take about a month for the pain to subside. Great. So its gross, but oh well. The doc said any longer on the muffler and it could have easily been a 3rd degree burn. She said 2nd degree burns hurt worse though. Yes they hurt. The end.
Doesn't look that bad right? I had no idea at this point it was an actual burn. I thought it was from the pavement. About 30 minutes later I realized what had happened.
Two days later...
And well I am not showing any other pics of it cuz it got super gross! Now its covered in a nice gauze wrap with good burn cream!
