6 month boy!

Carson is 6 months today! Half a year. He is so much fun! We had his check up on Monday. His doctor told me he is growing well...19 lbs well. He is also pretty tall at 29 1/2 inches. I got really frustrated because he told me that I was over-feeding him. Now I will explain and you tell me if this makes sense...I feed him every 3-4 hours with 5.5- 6 oz. each time, 5 times a day. (equals 27.5-30 oz a day). The dr. said he should not be eating that frequently. So he tells me I should be feeding him 7 or 8 oz every 4-5 hours. (hmmm that equals 28-32 oz) Overfeeding? How? Oh well. I have switched him to 7 oz and now he only eats 4 times a day. Nice, but still don't get it. Anyway, some things about Carson:

-The boy of many nicknames: Cars, Carsono, Carsity Cars, Spit Up King, and Carsi (Paige came up with that)

- Can sit up now!

- Still scootches around on his back and a little on his tummy.

- Has 2 teeth, and the two top, outer incisors breaking through as we speak.

- Knows the sign for milk, and I love to tease him

- Loves to spit and babble.

- Still thinks Chad is the best person ever, and second in line would be Paige.

- Absolutley is in to feeling things. He loves silky and soft blankets. It helps soothe him, although will not get him to sleep by itself.

- still likes to be swaddled. Working on weancing him off that.

- Loves sand and getting dirty.

- Is a horrible teether!

- Very personable. Will smile for anyone if you just look at him

- Spits up A LOT! This has been hard for me to deal with. The looks and comments I get are annoying. I can't help him at all. Its just something he does. If I could control it, you know I would!

We absolutely love this little boy! He makes me smile. We just were not complete without him. Love you Carson!
