Brithday Festivities

Paige had a good weekend!  On Friday, we took her out to McDonald's to eat.  She loves playing on the play place there and this time she figured out how to get all the way to the top and go anywhere she wanted!  It was super cute!
Yesterday, we took her to build a bear workshop.  I didn't know what to expect with her.  I worried she would want more than one or throw a fit.  It was the complete opposite.  We went through every stuffed animal there and she gave each one a hug and put it back.  We then asked her to pick her favorite and she ran right for the cute green frog.  She absolutlely loves that thing.  She named him "Froggy."  Totally original!  She was so good and it was totally worth it to see her smile.
Then later on last night we had a few couples and Seth over to have cookies and ice cream.  Paige does not like cake as she informs me frequently.  So I found a cute cookie idea in a cook book I had and Paige loved it!  She actually picked it out of the cook book.  They were pretty good.  We also made "Pazookies."  Which is a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top served right out of the oven!  Tasty.  She had such a wonderful weekend and got many fun presents.  Thank you to all those who made it such a specail day and for all the wonderful comments left for her.

Instead of the play kitchen, we got her this tent.  She has been playing in it non-stop and not to mention was way cheaper than the kitchen!

We have that tent too. Gotta love Ikea! It's the perfect activity for a rainy day. Although, I don't imagine you have too many of those in sunny CA. Now that you and Katie are there I might have to plan a trip out to see you guys. Happy birthday Paige!
