Yosemite!

The Proctors, us, and the Davis'
The Giant Sequoias

We had a great time at Yosemite.  It was gorgeous weather, beautiful views, and lots of nature.  I had some "goals" I wanted to accomplish while we were there.  One was to go to the falls, which were amazing!  The other (in my head, it was completely not realistic) was to see a wild bear....and yes we did!!!!  It was by our cabin and was a pretty brown color.  It was not too big, but it was awesome to see!
We went on a nice walk to Mirror Lake, which the kids absolutely loved!  We got to see both Yosemite falls and Bridalveil falls.  It is so cool to stand at the bottom of the falls!  Although you get quite wet.  Everyone else went on a big hike and I stayed back because the kids could not go...not to mention I did not want to go!
It was a fun weekend, minus my back injury.  It was just nice to play games, see nature, and hang out with great friends!

I am so jealous of you. I want to go there real bad. I looked up the driving time and it was like 20 hours or something crazy like that. It looks beautiful. I will go there some day. Lucky. You were in our thoughts for sure when we made the oreo cookies. You definitely did start that. Thanks a lot.

Great pics...especially of Seth and Paige. I think those two are destined to at least be life long friends.
I still haven't been but you have motivated me to plan a trip.
