Dogs, cats, and Santa. Paige LOVES them. She will point and say "dog, woof woof." or "Cat, meow, meow" and recently any time she sees Santa she gets so excited and says "Santa" over and over. We have a Santa pillow and she loves it. Well, you would think she would want to sit on Santa's lap. Nope. What is about Santa that kids just do not like when it comes time to sit on their lap? Almost every kid has this problem. So I am doing a last year picture compared to this year. These are at our ward Christmas party. Of course it is even the same Santa. She didn't mind at all last year...this year was a different story. She was ok though if I sat with her. She at least didn't scream or cry. She just did not want to touch him. Funny little girl.

That's funny. Last year Noah didn't have any idea who santa is and when he saw him at the mall he ran screaming the other direction. He feels the same way about the easter bunny. This year, he's obsessed with santa. He walks around the house saying "Santa Clause, ho ho ho!" Our ward party is on saturday so it will be interesting how he'll react to seeing santa in person.
Your blog is so dang cute! It is crazy how big Paige is getting. The Finchs keep us a little updated on you guys, but hopefully we will be able to see you when you are here.
I have no idea what the whole santa issue is!! Last year was the first time Morgan ever sat on Santa's lap voluntarily. Kels sees him and starts to cry and back away. Just don't get it - they want the toys but not the bearer of them!

Logan is totally terrified too! He wants nothing to do with the jolly fat man. Maybe next year?
