...squeeze the heck out of them and throw them at someone else. Yes that is how I feel. I don't want to make lemonade with them, I want someone else to deal with the problem at hand. With that said, Friday morning Chad and I headed on to Utah. I had feelings all morning that we just should not leave that day, but of course I ignored it thinking it was nothing. Well nothing, turned into something MAJOR. We got 3 hours out of Culver City, just outside Baker, when I was woken up by smoke coming from the hood and Chad was pulling the car over. Our first thought, was "man, just overheating." Well, we put water in the coolant tank and then the car wouldn't start. We waited in the 110 degree heat for 2 hours until we finally got towed back to Baker...where there is nothing!! We got the car looked at just to find out that there was a blown head gasket and it would cost over $2500 to fix. So, I of course had a nervous breakdown because we can't afford to fix the car because its only worth like $4000 and we can't just buy another one. We went and got a motel room that hardly had AC and watched tv. Chad's parents drove 7 hours to meet us so we could have a way to Utah. We also had to tow the car to Vegas...for free thank goodness thanks to AAA. We are going to auction it off at the car auction there and hope for the best. Now, we are in search of a car at a good value. Anyone know??? So, sometimes life just sucks, but I have realized there is not much I can do about the past, so I hope something great will happen for us in the future. Happy 5 year anniversary to Chad and I!!!

Bye bye car

Oh my gosh...That sounds horrible! I am so sorry, we were wanting to plan a trip to Park City while you're here...Do you need to borrow a car? we have 3?
that stinks! car trouble is the worst. good luck on finding a car. my brother uses ksl.com or craig's list a lot for stuff like that.
Noooo! Car trouble is the worst! Because let's face it...you are totally helpless. Maybe you should just invest in a famly sized scooter? Think how much fun Paige would have! Hey, tell Chad that Robert Beck just got married! Good luck with you car!
That sucks and we are sorry to hear that you had such a bad day. I am glad Chad's parents could come and get ya'll. Have fun in UT and try not to get too down about your car problems.
I'm so sorry about your car! That had to be awful sitting in your car for that long waiting for the tow truck. On a good note, I'm so excited to see you tomorrow! We'll talk more then.
Oh, man.. are you guys still in Utah? if so call me I might have a connection for you, a guy that sold us our car. He actually buys the cars in vegas auction... there could be something worked out down there even if it works. Let me know.
That bites! I hope you had fun in Utah, found a new car, and had a happy anniversary!
Hey, well I hope you find a car. The guy that goes to the auction down there that we got our car from is Brad Butters, he lives in Bountiful. Call me if you want the number. He also posts cars on KSL.com. He has a business as well called Rugged Rentals if you find him that way. But let me know if you want his number, we got a pretty good deal on our Kia Sedona from him. Hope all is going better.
