A busy week with family

Wow!  It was a busy week.  Chad's two sisters (Rachel and Brooke), nephew (Owen), and Rachel's boyfriend (Colby) all came out to visit us.  They had a lot of things they wanted to do.  We had a great time showing them around and hanging out.  Here is what we did...with lots of pictures to follow....
-went to the Venice Beach, and C&O's
-went swimming
-Disneyland, twice
- 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica
- went to the Angels vs Red Sox baseball game....REALLY good game...GO RED SOX!
- had a bonfire on the beach
- toured USC
A big crowd of us on Its a Small World.
Of course we went to Playhouse Disney!  They LOVED it!

What, me golfing?

So Chad and I were at target a few months ago and found some women's golf clubs on clearance.  They were originally $140 and were marked down to $22.  Chad said we HAD to buy them because it was such a great deal, so we did.  I DO NOT GOLF!  I have never cared to or wanted to.  I like to putt and thats about it.
Well, today chad suggested I go learn how to golf.  We were going to do the actual coarse, but did not have time, so we just went to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls.  It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.  I didn't do so bad either.  Maybe next time I will take my skills to the coarse.  We shall see!   And, yes that is a picture of the clubs I got.  My camera battery just died yet again, so I took it from the internet.

Happy Birthday Grandma and Cinco De Mayo

Today is my mom's birthday.  I'm sure she would like me to say it is her 29th birthday!  We wish we could be there to spend it with you mom.  Paige misses you and says "Mun you grandma!"  She also made a birthday shout out on a video on facebook, so check it out mom!  We love you and miss you tons!

Children's Museum and last day in Green Bay

We got a ring pop at a restaurant and we saved it until the airplane ride.  Kept her happy and entertained...plus we had a little green mouth girl!  She is sticking her tongue out so I could get a good picture.
Not to be confused with a pacifier...
Our last meal together at Old Chicago.  Tasty!

We went to Lambeau Field where the Packers play.  I do not like the Packers but it was fun to go see it.

They were having a YMCA healthy kids day so we joined in on the fun!
Cheesehead?  For sure!  Just not in the sense of a Packers fan!

We took Kelsey and Paige to the Children's Museum.   They had a good time running from place to place playing with each thing.  This is a great place for kids to just roam and play.  What a great idea!

The NEW zoo

That is the North Eastern Wisconsin zoo.  Paige absolutely loved this place.  She really was fascinated with the river otters...probably because there was water involved.

There were 3 cubs and they were so cute!
They also had a fun playground at the zoo that the girls thought was awesome.

This whatever it is, is so cute.  Look at that face!
Paige's favorite, the otter
One of the like thousand peacocks.
Can you tell they are all girls with the amount of pink in this picture!!

Playing around with cousins

Paige loved hanging out with her cousins.  They had new toys for her to discover, but most of all they had "bikes."  Everytime we would walk out to the car she would beg to ride them.  Of course she was too little for the ones she liked the most, but oh well.
She and Morgan had a hanging contest.  Paige lost!
Isn't she so cute?
I just love Paige

These two girls were so worn out every night.  Above is how Kelsey goes to sleep just about every night.  I think it is absolutely hilarious.  And below, is how Paige goes to sleep every night.  Oh how she loves her Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and baby!

Wisconsin Dells

Be prepared for a lot of pictures!  We got to Wisconsin late Saturday night.  Sunday morning we went to part to church and then left early to head out to the Wisconsin Dells.  This place is awesome!  There are resorts all over that all have indoor and outdoor water/theme parks.  We stayed at the Kalahari, and got to upgrade our room for free to a two room suite.  It was very very nice.  We had a blast at the indoor water park!  Paige could not get enough of the water.  The slides...not so much.  We did take her on a few of the big ones and she did not enjoy them all that much.  She just wanted to splash and play around.  She was so mad when we left!  Chad and Lee both tried their hand at surfing.  It was so fun to watch.  I did not get Chad on video the last time he did it, but he stayed on forever, and everyone around was clapping and cheering for him!
They got to decorate their own cookies at the resort.  Paige loved it!

She loved this pool!  The waves would crash down on her and she would laugh!

This is just a glimpse of the indoor waterpark!
